In 2005 Western Berks Ambulance began work on creating a video to stress the importance of seat belt use to teenagers. After over a year of work by a lot of organizations and individuals the video has been mass produced and is ready for distribution. ![]() The video, fewer than five minutes in length, chronicles the feelings of family and friends of Tabitha Impink. Tabitha, who was a senior at Tulpehocken High School, was killed in an accident after forgetting her seatbelt; something that Tabitha always remembered. Interviews with the family and friends shows how special Tabitha was and the impact that her untimely death had on everyone. You can visit Tabitha's web site for more on her story. This project has received support from local and regional organizations in the health care field and we have received requests from State and National education and transportation organizations interested in using the video for their programs. If you would like to include this video for your organization's presentation you can contact us here. View a short clip of this video. We appreciate everyones support throughout this project; especially Tabitha's family, friends and teachers. |
