EMS Memorial Bike Ride Visits WBEMS |

The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride team stopped at Western Berks EMS (Robesonia Station) today to help honor one of our own. The team is riding from New York City to the National EMS Memorial Service in Roanoke, VA this week to honor all of the fallen EMS providers who have died in the line of duty.
Western Berks' EMT Shawn Kramer passed away in the line of duty on October 10, 2001 from injuries suffered while working for Hamburg Ambulance. Shawn's mother and twin brother were on hand to ask the team to deliver a birthday card to the Memorial Service for Shawn. Shawn would have been 30 years old this week.
Thank you to the team for their cooperation in helping Shawn's family and we wish you a safe trip to Roanoke.
