Welcome to Womelsdorf Fire Company's Website!
| The Womelsdorf Volunteer Fire Company is a
100% VOLUNTEER civic
organization that is |
| responsible for fire suppression, rescue, and hazardous
material incidents, as well as numerous other types of
emergencies and has been responding to these calls for the
past 110 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our station
is designated as Company 47 with the Berks County
Communications Center. We are one of the 70 all-volunteer or
combination paid/volunteer fire companies in Berks County. |

We are located in Berks County, about 15 miles
west of the City of Reading. Our primary coverage area includes
Womelsdorf Borough and we share coverage of Heidelberg Township
with the Pioneer Hose Company of Robesonia. The borough has
about 0.81 square miles with a population of 2600 residents. The
township has 13.9 square miles and a population of over 1630
residents.
