Friday, 04 November 2005 |
This years SafeTrick or Treat Nights, held annually at our Robesonia station, was another huge success. Every year attendance to this event increases and we were proud to offer it for the eighth straight year. This event offers a safe place for children to trick or treat. They are given the opportunity to tour an ambulance and visit the station to see Soupy the Ambulance. Of course the goodies and treats are also a big attraction. |

Paramedic Jason Moyer and EMT Greg Deiterich, II received a personal thank you from a patient during a visit to our West Lawn Station. The patient, who was suffering from a medical emergency, commended Jason and Greg for their actions in a letter to the Reading Eagle.
" I am writing this letter because I want to make everyone aware of what awesome people are involved in this association." "He took the time to tell me what he was doing and assured me that I was going to be alright." "In this day and age where people do so little to help other people, a person like Jason should be commended." These were just some of the points in the letter to the Reading Eagle. We are pleased that she is doing fine and even more pleased of the impression that Jason and Greg left with this patient. |
